New name, New website, same old badd ass event!

Here's our new website.  We slightly changed our name for a few reasons; one was we really wanted the word 'zine' in the title along with the word 'alternative' and 'book.' 

So we're calling ourselves the East Bay Alternative Book and Zine Fest!

Ebabz (pronounced e-babes) for short!

Join us in making this year's event even better than the last two years.

Hello everyone -- we are excited to announce the the East Bay Alternative Press Book Fair and Zine Fest will be teaming up with the folks at Rock Paper Scissors collective to bring you an even bigger more event on December 8th. We will have our first joint meeting to plan our day time activities, discuss our proposed keynote speaker, decide on artwork, and plan our evening activities. Please join us Monday July 30th at RPS at 2278 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, CA 94612 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Call for volunteers for the 3rd Annual EBAP Book Fair

Mark your calenders! June 11th at 7 pm at Au Coquelet Cafe 2000 University Av in downtown Berkeley, the first Volunteer meeting for the 3rd annual East Bay Alternative Press Book Fair will happen. We will devise a letter to send out for Art Submissions, we will brainstorm ways to improve on last year's event, we will imagine what is possible for the one coming up. Please spread the word!!! and of course please send in ideas or thoughts if you can't make it to ebapbookfair (at) gmail dot com.
